Museum Trip - Feb 2012

Mr I explains electric fishing.

Professor Amelia looks at her discovery.

A group is looking at what is in our food.

A display of Didymo on rocks. (Not real)

On the 16th of February Room 2 went to the Nelson Provincial Museum and learnt about 'Water.'  Some of the things we learnt about were, how water gets dirty, mussel farms,  what creatures need to survive in water and we even worked out the code to find out how six dogs in Auckland died. They died because they ate a very toxic sea slug. We also learnt that the Cawthron Institute does lots of scientific research for the whole of New Zealand.
